Winter Obedience

Location: W H Lyon Fairgrounds Armory Building (North end of parking lot)

It is that time of the year again! We are beginning our winter obedience class this coming Sunday and it will go for 6 weeks. The cost per dog per session is $10 payable at the event. Also, if you are not paid up on your membership, please bring your renewal form along and plan to pay at the first class. Just a reminder, if you volunteered to help last year for a couple of events you will only pay $50, however, if you did not volunteer the cost is $100.

Registration begins at 12:30pm for the puppies under 6 months of age and the class starts at 1pm sharp. The adult dogs begin at 2pm sharp so make sure you are at the facility and registered prior to the class. We do plan to have a short discussion between 1:30pm and 2pm on NAVHDA and AKC tests. The adult class goes from 2pm to 3pm and then from 3pm to 4pm we have time to discuss advanced training topics that you may have. Please be thinking about things you would like more information on!

I am attaching the agenda and description of what you should bring along to the class to this email. Please contact Jeff Miller, Dave Lyon, Chris Gross, or Troy Van Beek if you have questions. One other note, if you are interested in getting the Canine Good Citizen certification at the end of the class, Troy Van Beek will offer that exam at the final class.
