2023 Aims & Rules Clinic


MWTS will conduct an Aims & Rules Clinic on June 10-11, 2023 at our training grounds.

The Aims & Rules Clinic is an educational tool developed by NAVHDA to help dog owners and handlers understand the testing system. During the two-day clinic weekend, participants experience all aspects of a Natural Ability, Utility Preparatory, and Utility test.

Participation is limited to 20 handlers
Registration is for both days.  There is no single day registration option.

Prepare by reading NAVHDA Aims, Programs and Test Rules book.

What to bring:

  • Current copy of the Aims, Programs & Test Rules
  • Chair
  • Dress for varying weather.  The event will be held rain or shine, so bring appropriate clothing.
  • A blaze orange article of clothing.
  • Field boots/muck boots as you will be walking in the field.
  • Clipboard, notebook and pen.
  • Do not need to bring your dog. You will be judging dogs provided by volunteer handlers.


Youth handlers, 18 and under, may apply to the Kristin Rieser Scholarship Fund  to cover the base clinic entry fee.
